Brooklyn ranked 135th in Connecticut for resident earnings in 2018

Brooklyn ranked 135th among cities in Connecticut by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Brooklyn residents was $12,721 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 184 households with a population of 965.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Fenwick with $98,750 per year after adjusting for inflation – $86,029 more than Brooklyn. It had 39 households with a population of 69.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Storrs with $3,820 per year after adjusting for inflation – $8,901 less than Brooklyn. It had 1,824 households with a population of 16,516.
