Tolland County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
In celebration of Earth Day 2022, the Tolland Conservation Commission invites walkers, hikers, outdoor lovers, and other environmental enthusiasts to join us in a springtime CLEAN SWEEP of our public open spaces.While Tolland’s Conservation Area trails are maintained by an excellent group of Property Stewards, we have noticed discarded road-side trash that needs ourattention.Please join us in this community effort to pick up debris along the trails and roads that front on Conservation Areas. Together we can restore the natural beauty of our open spaces and help tidy up our Mother Earth’s backyard. Tolland together in Stewardship!When: Saturday, April 23, 2022, 9:00-10:00AM (you’re welcome to work or hike longer)
