Meet fiber artist Emma Welty in the library's gallery space at a reception highlighting her beautiful woven works of art.
Emma Welty is an artist, educator, researcher and writer with a textile centered studio practice. Born and raised in Woodbury, Welty completed a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Fibers and Art History and an MFA/MA in Visual Art and Art History at Purchase College.
