Learn more about the Town’s new Trash Reduction Pilot Program that starts February 7, 2023. Hosted by the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (Woodbury’s regional partner), they'll offer a short presentation about the program, talk about recycling and food scrap collection, demonstrate how to use the new green and orange trash bags, and listen to community feedback. There will also be opportunities to get involved. Bring your questions and ideas! Pizza dinner will be served.

All are welcome; please RSVP to Katie Schlick at kschlick@nvcogct.gov or (203) 489-0368

The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) is a regional organization supporting 19 municipalities, including Woodbury, in west-central CT. NVCOG has received a Sustainable Materials Management Grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection to do outreach and education for the Trash Reduction Pilot Program, Connecticut’s waste crisis, and ways to reduce your trash and recycle better.
